If you've ever wondered what goes into creating a luxurious body butter, you're in the right place. Today, ya girl is testing a new formula for our body butters. I’m taking you inside the Makei Beauty lab as I test a brand-new emulsified body butter formula — up close and personal.

What Is an Emulsified Body Butter?
An emulsified body butter combines water and oils to create a rich yet lightweight moisturizer that absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. Well at least that's the goal I'm aiming for. Unlike traditional body butters, emulsified formulas tend to be creamier, more stable, and easier to apply while still delivering deep hydration.
This is why I love working with emulsified formulas — they give you the luxury feel of a butter with the absorption of a lotion. Plus the bonus is when they're being shipped I don't have to worrk about it melting in the heat.

Depending on the outcome of this session I may tweak the formula a bit.
