Eye Bags...Where? How I Cover Dark Circles & Look Awake in Minutes

There’s a few things ya girl gets sensitive about…my family, my privacy, and yes ma’am—these eye bags.

Because let’s be real… life be life’ing. Stress, late nights, healing, building, parenting—ALL of it will show up right under your eyes like it pays the cost to be the BOSS.

Now don’t get me wrong—I know under eye bags can be genetic. But why they gotta be so loud about it? Why they out here introducing themselves before I do?

Yeahhh… no. Not on my watch.

So instead of fighting my face, I learned how to work with it—and baby, this right here? This is how I bring my face back to life and fake a full 8 hours real quick.

And if you’re more of a visual learner, I got you—watch me do this step-by-step here:

👉

How I Disguise My Under Eye Bags

Let’s get into it.

1. Soften First—Don’t Attack

When I apply my foundation, I don’t go heavy under my eyes. I take whatever is left on my brush and lightly go over the area.

Why? Because we’re not trying to cake anything up—we’re creating a soft base.

2. Correct the Darkness (This is where most people mess up)

I go in with an orange color corrector and lightly trace right along the deeper part of my under eye.

This step cancels out that dark, tired look before we even touch concealer.

Translation: we’re fixing the problem, not just covering it.

3. Brighten Strategically

Next, I apply a lighter concealer right where I placed that corrector.

Not all over. Not heavy.Just enough to bring light back to the area.

Because we’re not trying to look ashy—we’re trying to look awake and lifted.

4. Blend Like You Mean It

Take a damp beauty sponge and blend everything out.

And let me be clear—this is not a rush job. Blend until it looks like skin. Period!

5. Add Depth Back (Yes, this matters)

Now I go back in with a slightly deeper concealer over the area.

This step keeps everything from looking flat and gives that natural, seamless finish.

6. The Magic Step

This is where it all comes together.

I take a translucent setting powder slightly lighter than my foundation and set everything in place. And listen… when I tell you this step will have your under eyes looking smooth, blurred, and lifted? Baby… the eye bags? Practically minding their business.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up for yourself, even on the days you’re tired, overwhelmed, or just not feeling like “that girl.”

Because sometimes self-care looks like rest…and sometimes it looks like blending your concealer until you feel like yourself again.

Either way—you deserve to feel good when you look in the mirror.

Now go on about your day looking refreshed, glowing, and just a little unbothered.
